Schuyler Towne, is a lockpicker. A damn good one too.
He was in Seattle a few weeks back, doing a seminar for some Amazon folks, and we got together for lunch and a beer. Good guy, and it was enjoyable to talk with him about something most people believe to be illegal: Lockpicking. Most places it is perfectly legal to have picks. There must be an intent to commit a crime before the possession of lockpicking tools can be considered illegal. And trust me, I don’t intend to use my set to do any crimes.
If you want to learn more about lockpicking for the man himself, take a look at his website, OPEN Locksport. Also, he has loaded 24 videos on Youtube with him discussing how locks and lockpicking works. Here is the first one.
