While taking photos of Laura I started to wonder something. “How many attractive women could I take photos of in a year’s time?” I don’t know, but I’m willing to give it a try. I’m feeling confident behind my camera and my recent photos have looked great. And hey, taking pictures of a pretty lady would make anyone happy, right?

Bear:

Having a late afternoon snack.

This…this is my baby right here. I’ve had this camera for about 2yrs now and it has yet to falter on me, like my other cameras have. Every other camera I’ve acquired has died on me…except my Holga. Strange that two cameras, on the far ends of “craftmanship” have given me many great images.

Shooting with a rangefinder isn’t for everyone, but isn’t that one of the joys of photography? Rangefinder, SLR, TLR, instant, pinhole, etc. Whatever method you wish to capture a moment through a lens there is a way to do so. You just have to pick what is right for you and just take the picture.

Laura would like you to buy her a drink:

Laura: How do you want me to look now?
Me: Give me a look like you want the guy next to you at the bar to buy you a drink.
Laura: Uh,…I just ask, “Can you buy me a drink?”
Me: But what if he couldn’t hear you over the band playing?

She then gives me this look.

She thought I wouldn’t catch her making silly faces between shots. I didn’t catch them all but I did get this one.

Laura flips her hair.

Laura’s cute smile:

Laura: Can I do a cute smile one?
Me: Sure. But do a hair flip for me first.
Laura: You want me to flip my hair?
Me: Yes. Flip your goddamn hair!

*both of us laugh thinking about charlie’s angels.*
