After finishing my Leica Year project I took a month or so off from photography. I focused on trying to pick a few padlocks I have at home with a new lockpick set I acquired. Cleansing the palette, as it were. When I decided to pick up my Leica again, Erin was ready to sitting in front of my camera. It wasn’t a big photoshoot (but then again, none of my shoots ever are) but it felt nice to use the camera in a relaxing manner. Not that the Leica Year project was laborious, it just felt that getting to the finish line was always a long way off. I’m happy that I did it but I’m happy that it is done.

How am I spending my first day of vacation? By having a photoshoot with Lisa tomorrow.
